Our webs are standard\u00a0equipped with rods of spring steel class C (DIN 17228). However we can also mount rods of\u00a0CrSi-steel, stainless steel or glass fibre reinforced polyester. After consultation with you, we can also use other materials so that the produced web will meet your expectations as good as possible.<\/p>\n

Without using rod coverings we can create gaps with a minimum of 5mm. By using rod covering we can reduce the gaps to 2mm.<\/p>\n<\/div>

In determining the correct width of the sieve web, it is important that the rods have the correct \u201cstokmaat\u201d. This is the distance between the two outside rivet holes, C.T.C. When ordering loose rivet rods it is important that you mention the stokmaat as well as the distance between the holes in one end. Without further notice, we assume this distance to be 20mm in 50mm wide traction belts and 32mm in 60 or 75mm wide traction belts. On request we can also make these distances 24 or 30mm<\/p>\n<\/div>

Springsteel<\/h3>\n

CrSi<\/h3>\n

For use in rough circumstances,\u00a0for instance in stone separators,\u00a0we can make the rods out of\u00a0stronger materials. Here we use CrSi\u00a0steel (spring steel, class\u00a0super C) CrSi\u00a0steel is harder and\u00a0tougher than spring steel class C.\u00a0Furthermore it has all the properties\u00a0of regular spring steel. CrSi steel\u00a0is available in the diameters 6,\u00a08, 9,\u00a010, 11 and 12mm. A great advantage of CrSi steel is the fact that it is very suitable for\u00a0welding.<\/p>\n

Stainless steel<\/h3>\n

Stainless steel is often used in\u00a0water. All metals used in these\u00a0sieve webs are made of stainless\u00a0steel. Stainless\u00a0steel\u00a0is available in the diameters 6, 7,\u00a08, 10, 11\u00a0and 12mm.<\/p>\n

Glass fibre<\/h3>\n

To save weight we can use rods\u00a0out of glass fibre. The glass fibres provide\u00a0great tensile strength. A\u00a0sieve web with these rods can\u00a0weigh up to 50% less than a\u00a0web with steel rods. Another\u00a0advantage is that these rods\u00a0don\u2019t rust. Glass fibre\u00a0rods are available in\u00a0the diameters 6, 8 and 10mm.<\/p>\n<\/div>
